Frida’s favorite sweater- Felted Tweed
A lovely and affirming sweater which is a bit demanding to make. On some rounds you are working with 3 colors at the same time, sometimes with more than 5 stitches in between each color change. Make sure you cross the yarn around each other on the wrong side to keep it neat. You will need to work the stranded colorwork pattern back and forth in rows at the top of the body and sleeve cap. But it is worth the effort, good luck!

Rowan, Felted Tweed (50% wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose, 50 g, 175 m/191 yds).
COL1: Melange honey yellow 193: 2 (3, 3, 3, 4,4) skeins.
COL2: Melange warm brown 196: 2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins.
COL3: Melange orange 188: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3) skeins.
COL4: Melange deep red 150: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3) skeins.
COL5: Melange purple 151: 1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins.
COL6: Melange turquoise 152: 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skein.
COL7: Melange dark blue 170: 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skein.
NOTIONS
Waste yarn and yarn needle.
NEEDLES
3 mm/US 2.5 and 3.5 mm/US 4 and 4 mm/US 6 circular needle (80 cm/32” and 40 cm/16”).
3.5 mm/US 4 and 4 mm/US 6 DPNs.
Adjust needle size as needed to match gauge.
GAUGE
22 sts in stranded colorwork in st st using 4 mm/US 6 measures 10 cm/4” across.
