I have been a knitting designer in Norway for over 35 years, making me one of the most well-known figures in the Norwegian knitting community. My journey began when I learned to knit at the age of six. In the early 1980s, I established myself as a freelance designer, collaborating with renowned brands such as Dale Yarns and Drops. After a year in Denmark as an agent for Italian spinning mills, I became the Marketing Manager at Dale, gaining valuable insights into Norwegian yarn production.
In 1999, my husband Per and I founded Du Store Alpakka with the aim of introducing alpaca to the Norwegian market. From humble beginnings, the company grew rapidly, and we sold over 30 tons of alpaca yarn annually before selling it in 2012. My passion for photography has also flourished, and I operated my own studio, Tett på Fotografi.
In 2021, I moved to Italy and embraced retirement, allowing me to explore new creative avenues. My latest book, "Strikk mine fineste skatter," was published the same year. Today, I focus on crochet art, painting, and creating freely, without the burden of selling.

In my webshop, you will find some of my most popular knitting patterns translated into English and Dutch. Additionally, you can purchase Norwegian patterns and use AI tools or Google Translate, as many of my customers do. Once you place your order, you will receive a link to the PDF with the pattern.
